Seahorse Bird

I'm sorry for being so absent here! I'll post more soon, I promise! I've been developing this little character for a few months now. Long story semi-short, I woke up one morning and stared at the wall for a long time, until I found a little pattern in the stucco that looked like a bird with a seahorse face. Weird, I know.. but inspiration can come from just about anywhere I guess :)
Hope everyone is taking it easy and looking forward to summer!

I don't talk to inanimate objects. I talk to brilliant artists with unnecessarily low confidence in their work. let's see that film already gurrrrrrrrl.

Nice work, I'd love to own one of these guys. Would I keep him in an aquarium or a cage?

These are great designs! You can do turnaround filled with life like nobody's business.

I absolutely love this design! This little character is full of personality, and the concept's great. The story behind the inspiration is great, too. ;) I see odd things in walls and fabric patterns and other odd things sometimes, and they bring me inspiration on occasion. I know how that is! I don't think I've ever come up with something quite as fun as a seahorse bird, though.

I think I need to get around the rose lion I keep seeing in the tapestry in my living room now!
