Last Monday I went to the La Brea tarpits with my buddy Jen. We had a lovely trip.. despite some minor mix-ups involving parking and another incident involving a lack of mayonnaise on our pre-made sub sandwiches from Vons. Those tomatoes did very little to moisten the sandwich.. but bless them, they tried. I'm rambling. Here are some skulls and stuff :)

Dynamic fossils! Very awesome, Kristen! We'll have to do this again and try not to fall into the ridiculous parking lot tar pits. :P
